Please Stop Crying…

One of the worst feelings in the world as a parent is listening to your baby cry and not knowing how to soothe them. Here’s some unique ways to soothe an uncomfortable baby.

DISCLAIMER: IF YOUR BABY IS CRYING FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS AND THEY’VE BEEN FED AND CHANGED CONTACT YOUR PEDIATRICIAN OR LOCAL HOSPITAL! NOTHING SAID HERE IS INTENDED TO BE MEDICAL ADVICE!

“One way I calmed my very angry baby was gently blowing on her face. We would also spin in circles. If all else failed, put baby back to breast.” -Sydney Mosley

“I used to scream at my baby to make her laugh lol.” -Geneva Ann Lopez

“When my baby is losing her mind, she quiets right up if I squeeze her toes. As soon as the toe squeezes stops, the screaming starts again. Buys me time to get food ready or distracts her long enough from letting her fall asleep.” -Tara Cox

“My son loves bath time but HATES after the bath. The only way we got him to stop screaming bloody murder every night for 10 minutes while we get him ready for bed was putting an iPad stand on the changing table and putting on dancing fruit on Youtube.” -Cecilia Arriaga

“At like 2 or 3 months we started buzzing at our son when he was crying. Buzzing like a bee.” -Jessica Robin

“If my daughter is throwing a big fit, I put my chin in her mouth. Also, until my daughter could take a bath, we were doing sponge baths before her cord fell off. I just put my breast in her mouth and she’d be happy because if I didn’t she would scream the ENTIRE time and she wouldn’t take pacis.” -Brianna Lawley

“Stinky foot, yummy foot. Pretend one of their feet is the stinkiest thing in town, and the other you couldn’t devour fast enough.” -Isaiah Mosley
