My name is Sydney. I am a 25 year old mom of (almost 2) just trying to navigate parenthood like the rest of you. To give a little backstory, my daughter has put up quite the show since birth. She was frank breech, stuck in my uterus, and not breathing when she was born. She didn’t gain any weight for the first three weeks of life, then was diagnosed with oral ties and body tension. After a release of the ties and several uncomfortable chiropractor appointments, it felt like we were finally on our way. We triple fed for 3 months and right when I was about to give up breastfeeding something clicked and we were harmonious. Throughout the 14 months of her life we have had to get creative. She doesn’t sleep very well (yay sleep associations) and that is really our main issue these days. However, as a stay at home mom with access to the internet, I have noticed a pretty intense trend of mom’s reaching out to other mom’s for guidance. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed and I am here to foster its growth. This blog will bring you real life scenarios of parents around the world who have tried every remedy for an obstacle they’re facing and when all else failed they invented a new way to help. I am not a medical professional and I am not offering medical advice. I will have a section on surviving the first 30 days with a newborn with cited information from professionals around the world. Otherwise, all the information you see here will be first hand encounters.
