Why are you here?

Hi, my name is Sydney and I am on a mission to take the shame out of parenthood. Being a parent is hard, and often times we don’t speak up and ask for help because we’re embarrassed and shameful. Especially when the “conventional” tools haven't worked for you and your unique baby, it’s hard to try and find solace in someone else who has never experienced anything like what you have.

I sent out several Facebook posts, text messages, and other posts on social media asking parents to give some feedback on real and raw experiences they’ve had in hopes that you feel a little less alone.

If it’s 2 a.m. and you’re scrolling through the depths of Google trying to figure out of this thing your baby is doing is “normal” I want you to pause. Remember, the internet is a tool and can provide good or bad information. Nothing stated in this blog is intended to be used as medial advice. However, I have links posted to helpful websites where you can find good knowledge on the most common things to know as a first time parent.

I wanted to give parents an all inclusive spot to be able to giggle, cry, relate, and understand that they are not alone. I've simply been in the trenches with my daughter for the last 14 months and I am very passionate on helping other struggling parents without monetizing information. Feel free to send me any of your experiences so I can add them in as well, enjoy!
